YOGA ON EL CAMINO DE SANTIAGO COMPOSTELA
Two separate week-long pilgrimages in Spain SPRING of 2023
Dates:
April 18th to 24th, 2023 Bilbao, Spain to Lugo, Spain along the El Camino Coastal Route (minor stretching)
April 30th to May 8th, 2023 Lugo, Spain to Santiago Compostela
Yoga twice a day. (Francia Route)
This journey is often a bucket list item, and the Camino is an exceptional pilgrimage that has been walked by hundreds of thousands of individuals
for thousands of years. It is said the original teachings of the "good news" by
Jesus and his disciples were shared here by Santiago along the Camino before he returned to Palestine to be beheaded by Herod.
You can expect to walk 10-14 miles a day, do yoga twice a day, enjoy beautiful landscapes, and visit quaint little villages, while enjoying local cuisine
and wine.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Each couple of days, we will move from one resting place to another. The Inns are beautiful renovated barn houses out in the countryside, minutes from the Camino. Each person will share a room with a private bath. Singles are also available. Breakfast and dinner are included. Lunch is on your own, so you can enjoy the locals that cater to the pilgrims on the Camino.
MEALS
Wine, olive oil, herbs, fish, vegetables & fruit, are all grown and produced in abundance in the area and provide the essential ingredients for our deliciously fresh meals. We have wonderful local chefs who prepare dishes typical of the region during the retreats using fresh pickings from local oceans or farm producers.
YOGA & MEDITATION FACILITIES
Yoga and meditation are practiced in several indoor and outdoor spaces - each with a unique atmosphere of peace and tranquility for centering the mind and body.
